Thousands of cigarettes smuggled to Denmark from east Germany

<Sunday morning in th ecourt in Korsør, a 53-year-old man was at a hearing, who was arrested Saturday in connection with the disclosure of a smuggler boat with 800,000 unstamped cigarettes in Skæskør fjord. He was imprisoned until December 9.>

Member of the Communist Party in 1937.

Volunteered for Spain, fought in the Civil War against Franco.
